Tarlant 2003 La Vigne d'Or Extra Brut Pinot Meunier (Champagne)

From a small north-east facing vineyard in the Vallée de la Marne, this ripe, soft, generous wine also has great intensity. It is full and concentrated, with pear and apple fruits allied to touches of bitter almonds, wood and fruit. It's a vintage that could age, although it is just right to drink now. Roger Voss
