Light in the glass despite the residual sugar, this Auslese-style late-harvest bottling shows vibrant aromas of lemon glaze, nectarine flesh and apple peels on the nose. The palate is viscous in texture but not overtly sweet, as a zesty, pinpoint acidity slices through the midpalate, bringing citrusy verve to the stone fruit and pear flavors. Matt Kettmann
