Taylor Fladgate 1908 Vintage (Port)

Darker than the 1900, with a notable reddish tint toward the center, but still rather amber. This shows appreciably more richness and weight, as well as hints of dried cherries and mushrooms to go along with the sweet caramel and maple syrup flavors. Where it really shines is on the finish, with a burst of licorice and freshness. Drinking well now. Joe Czerwinski
