Dense and full bodied, this wine offers lifted plum and black cherry notes, combined with spicy oak and cola. The tannins are on the chewy, leathery side but the fruit is rich and mouth-filling, with an interesting tangy orange-rind finish. A steak wine if there ever was one. Drink now–2027.
