Winemaker: Teddy Hall. This is a superrich and opulent expression of Chenin, with loads of woody influence throughout. The bouquet offers oodles of wood-grilled apple and baking spice aromas, which carry through to the toasty, mouthfilling palate. Flavors of spiced orange peel and creamed melon help in fleshing out the palate, while the finish reverts back to endless oaky spice.
