Blackberry, plum and earth scents give this wine a darker bouquet than most entry- level 2007 Riojas. It remains solid and full in the mouth, with blackberry, dark plum and charred flavors. Medium length to the finish, with accents of cola and pepper. Good for the vintage; a cut above your everyday Rioja.
