Telmo Rodríguez 2009 MR Mountain Wine Moscatel (Málaga)

On first take, this is oily and smells of bitter almond and walnut. The mouthfeel is clunky and heavy, with low acidity. Bitterness is the lead flavor, and then honey and brown sugar enter the picture. On the finish it struggles to drive through the tape. Michael Schachner
