Templeton Rye Single Barrel Rye Whiskey Batch: 1, Barrel: 58, Bottle: 401 Bottled: January 30, 2007

The nosing passes find aromas of pine, cement, spice, and stone; scents of baked spiced apple are added in the last sniffs. Entry is lean, nicely grainy, but more dry than sweet; midpalate finds a spicy, grainy, breakfast cereal flavor that's suddenly sweeter and mildly biscuity. Finish is sweet and sap-like. Very nice. P.P.
