Tenor 2016 Sauvignon Blanc (Columbia Valley (WA))

This wine was vinified in a mixture of new 300-liter French oak barrels (50%) and stainless steel, with all of the fruit coming from Stillwater Creek Vineyard. Appealing aromas of kiwi, whole pineapple and spice are followed by full-bodied, textured tropical-fruit flavors that lead to a warm finish. The concentration doesn't seem all there, but it is still quite enjoyable. Sean P. Sullivan
