Aromas of purple flowers, dark-skinned fruit, tilled earth, tobacco and a faint whiff of barnyard lead the nose in this blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. The palate offers juicy black cherries, red currants, white pepper, grilled herb and a gamy note. Polished, firm tannins provide the structure and smooth texture.
