Made with organically cultivated Sangiovese grapes, this has subdued aromas suggesting baking spice and black plum. The concentrated palate offers vanilla, espresso, prune and clove alongside assertive tannins that lead to a mouth-drying finish. Give the tannins a few more years to unwind then drink to capture the remaining fruit.
