Nice, fresh and on the money. This is Carmenère in its ripest, most balanced state, and it is a fine red wine with a lot of spunk and natural flavor. The bouquet is perfumed and meaty, while the palate deals bacon, cassis and black cherry. A smoky, mildly charred finish really helps it along.
