A saturated, deeply colored heavyweight that could win a competition for the biggest Malbec going. It's opulent, with oak-based coconut aromas to go along with prune, maple and black cherry. Almost like Port, with blatant wood, dark fruit and large tannins. Still young and driving and entirely hedonistic. Michael Schachner
