Terrazas de Los Andes 2017 Parcel N°1E El Espinillo Malbec (Gualtallary)

Earthy berry and plum aromas lack expression regardless of how much air this gets. Saucy acidity sits atop the palate, which tastes of herbal tomato, red plum, currant and raw oak. Tomatoey acidity returns on a finish that's slightly green as well as raisiny tasting. Something isn't quite clicking with this high-end Malbec from Gualtallary in Tupungato. Michael Schachner
