Aptly named as this Syrah is grown at 3,000-feet elevation, the wine is full of very ripe plum, dark cherry and gamy meat flavors, with thick tannins evocative of leather and cigar box. A big-time Syrah that will deliver nuance and complexity as it opens up, particularly when paired with appropriately rich foods.
