Still young and assimilating its oak, this seems destined for further improvement in bottle. Tightly wound flavors of apple and Asian pear combine with the buttery notes from a percentage of malolactic fermentation in French oak. There are edgy phenolics also, and the whole combine needs a bit more time to pull together. Drink 2020 to 2024.
