Testarossa 2006 Garys' Vineyard Pinot Noir (Santa Lucia Highlands)

This is one of the most balanced and delicious of Testarossa's new 2006 Pinots. The vineyard is in the tenderloin of the appellation, and the wine brims with acid-brightened raspberry, cherry, cola, pomegranate and oak flavors that finish long and dry. It has the full-bodied appeal of a Santa Lucia Pinot, but maintains a certain delicacy and finesse.
