Thacher 2017 Constant Variable Red (Central Coast)

This blend of 54% Grenache, 32% Syrah and 14% Mourvèdre starts with a somewhat tangy nose of aacia, lilac and plum skins. The palate is a bit tart as well, yet that fresh character adds length to the juicy dark-fruit, cola, mint, sandalwood and potpourri flavors. Matt Kettmann
