Thacher 2017 Controlled Chaos Red (Paso Robles)

Tart and roasted cranberry aromas meet with loamy soil and wild desert herbs on the nose of this blend of 64% Mourvèdre, 14% Zinfandel, 12% Grenache and 10% Counoise. There's an eclectic mix of fresh red fruit, dried herbs, light pepper and crushed brick flavors on the palate, which makes for an easy-drinking table wine. Matt Kettmann
