Thacher 2020 Red (Paso Robles)

This old-school-minded blend of 66% Zinfandel, 23% Alicante Bouschet and 11% Petite Sirah is downright charming. Aromas of chaparral, desert scrub and blackberry make for an earthy nose. The palate also offers those sage scrub and scorched earth qualities, giving an herbal edge to the blackberry jelly core. Matt Kettmann
