The Blending Lab 2015 wZT Red (Paso Robles)

This blend of 59% Zinfandel and 41% Tannat shows tangy red-fruit aromas of wild berries and grenadine as well as rustic herbs in the background. There's a fennel spice background to the sip, where red-fruit flavors show strongly. This is a good midweek wine for pizza and burgers. Matt Kettmann
