Another stellar selection in The Bruery's Share This lineup, this one is an imperial stout brewed with orange zest, cacao nibs and vanilla beans. All of the notes work well together, coming off like one of those chocolate orange candies that you crack into pieces, with decadent notes of chocolate cake, candied citrus peel, roasted malt and light coffee with vanilla creamer. The palate is sweet and rich upfront, with lush flavors of chocolate brownie and vanilla ice cream filling the medium-bodied mouthfeel. Moderate carbonation balances the beer's weight, offering life and levity to the dense flavor profile. A pithy orange twang lends a pleasant, light bitterness to the close.
