Winemaker: Bruce Sack. You don't see too much Barbera in South Africa, but this is unlike any Piedmontese example. This special selection boasts herbal scents of fynbos, menthol and violets upfront, framing the blackberry and cassis fruit spine of the wine. The palate is soft, with fine tannins and a satiny texture. Drink now–2018.
