The Eyrie Vineyards 2017 Sisters Pinot Noir (Dundee Hills)

Editors' Choice

The five single-vineyard selections from Eyrie are partially determined by elevation, Sisters being the lowest site. It's a gentle wine, with flowery highlights and pretty strawberry fruit. But it flexes its muscle and gains power in the mouth, with the floral details of wild yeasts, and suggestions of bread and toast. It's well-balanced and should drink well through the rest of the decade. Paul Gregutt
