The Farm Winery 2012 LPF Red (Adelaida District)

A fragrant nose of chocolate-cherry candy, dried blueberry and hint of spearmint shows on this potent blend of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon and 12% Petit Verdot. The body is medium-heavy, with chalky tannins framing the tart boysenberry fruit, grippy leather and tobacco flavors that evolve toward grape and blackberry and finish on a woody cedar note.
