The Farm Winery 2014 LPF Red (Adelaida District)

Dense aromas of woody blackberry, hints of bay leaf and thyme and a dusting of crushed graphite show on this elegant blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Petit Verdot. It's a very regal wine on the palate, with firm upright tannins conveying flavors of black plum, leather, tobacco and black pepper. Matt Kettmann
