The Glenlivet 2003 Cellar Collection Release French Oak Finish 1983 Speyside Single Malt Whisky

Opening aromas are biscuity, marshmallow-like, grainy and semisweet; further exposure to air adds scents of oak, very light peat, tea leaves and creamery butter. At midpalate, it tastes of candied nuts, light caramel, vanilla and pine nuts keep the taste buds occupied. Finishes with a burst of vanilla and oak. Plumper than one expects The Glenlivet to be. P.P.
