The Great Brain Cell Sacrifice 2019 Rosé of Pinot Noir (Sta. Rita Hills)

This slightly yellow-pink bottling, which raises money for books for kids, is one of the better rosés of the vintage, starting with aromas of struck stone, lemon peel and ashy melon. It's very crisp on the palate, with brisk lemon-spray and pink-lime flavors, bound together with immense tension. Matt Kettmann
