The Great Oregon Wine Company 2019 La Chouette Vineyard Pinot Gris (Willamette Valley)

Despite its youth, this is a mellow, simple wine, with pleasantly generic varietal flavors touching on pear fruit. The buttery finish suggests that some or all may have gone through malolactic fermentation. Drink this over the next year or two, chilled a bit to bring more focus. Paul Gregutt
