Pure and focused aromas of elderberry and hawthorn berry run into a wildly complex set of terpene-laden herbs like green sage and rosemary, as well as cracked rainbow peppercorns and even mustard seed on the nose of this bottling. Edgy tannins and a well-integrated acidity coat the palate, where the peppery spice, tart fruit, flower-petal and dewy herb flavors sing a savory chorus. Matt Kettmann
