This wine is a blend of grapes seldom found in the state: Souzão (34%) Tinta Roriz (33%), Touriga Nacional (31%) and Tinta Cão. The aromas jump out of the glass, with notes of violets, purple fruit, freshly peeled orange, barrel spice and earth. The soft plush fruit flavors are extremely fresh and piquant, with the oak influence seeming dialed back. It's a very intriguing wine.
