The Winery At Holy Cross Abbey 2017 Viognier (Colorado)

This is a ripe wine, offering aromas of blossoms, gooseberries and pears. The exuberant palate doles out juicy lemons, apricots and apples, with touches of blossoms, white pepper and grass. Delicately balanced, this is light footed but carries some weight from the alcohol. It stays ripe through the finish, with a final wave of white peaches and white pepper pleasantly lingering.
