This wine blends Merlot from Stagecoach and Antinori vineyards on Atlas Peak with Malbec from the Trefethens in Oak Knoll and Merlot and Syrah from Hudson Vineyards in Carneros. Together the varieties provide a juicy hit of dark cherry and plum that's densely built and moderate in acidity. The finish is marked by meat and tobacco.
