The perfume of Eden Valley is on lovely display here. Wild blueberry and fresh blackberry fruit are in the fore, framed by peppery spice, dried mint, violets and a gentle but present line of chocolatey, toasty oak. The palate shows equal freshness with fine tannins supporting succulent berry fruit and a mint-and-spice finish. Drinking well now, this could cellar another 8–10 years at least. Christina Pickard
