Thornton NV Cuvée Rouge (California)

Best Buy

Darker than a rosé, almost Pinot Noirish in color, it has aromas of strawberries and raspberries, with a deeper, more decadent note, like chocolate cherries. Oddly, it tastes dry. There are some delicate raspberry flavors, but they're not too strong. Then it turns very rich and fruity on the finish. There's something addictive about this drink-me bubbly.
