From old Contra Costa County vines, the Three wines are made by Matthew Cline of Cline Cellars, whose family has long plowed these dry-farmed fields (and where he was the winemaker for almost two decades). This wine is chock a block in dense black cherry, coffee and cinnamon spice. Though its tannins are reserved, its overall presence is not. This peppery wine is big.
