89pointsThree Feathers 2017 Cuvée Virginia Pinot Noir (Chehalem Mountains)

Though the label notes that this wine is “slightly sweet,” it does not come across the palate as anything but fully dry. A pretty purple-red color, the flavors push marionberry fruit up against astringent black-tea tannins. It's a modest wine, tart up front and drying through the finish. Paul Gregutt
