Three Rivers 2007 Grenache (Wahluke Slope)

At first the wine smells of ash and earth, but as it breathes in come scents of sweet grape and plum. In the mouth the fruit is quite Grenache-like, grapey and high acid, with a pie cherry quality. If you like plenty of acid in your red wines, this is a good bet. Paul Gregutt
