Tiberini 1998 Podere le Caggiole (Vino Nobile di Montepulciano)

Lighter in color, with aromas of dried fruit, leather and smoke. The berry and cherry flavors run a touch sour, but it seems ripe and textured, with hints of chocolate working in its favor. Offers a good mix of dryness and power. Probably best with food. Michael Schachner
