Bronze color. A bit of pleasantly prickly spirit opens up the nose, then that blows off, leaving behind mild but substantial scents of beeswax, butter, marzipan and raisins. Palate entry is semisweet; midpalate is concentrated, grapey, caramel sweet and a touch toasty. Finishes slightly short in length. Displays some genuinely nice qualities in the bouquet and taste stages.
