Smoky, spicy and a bit jammy on the nose; this Bonarda loads up on black fruits and floral characteristics. It's a good, honest interpretation of the grape, and it's a solid bet for pizza and burgers. A bit syrupy in the mouth and on the finish, with a candied lushness that makes it soft in the long run.
