Tinhof 2018 Eisenstadt Blaufränkisch (Burgenland)

Pepper, dark cherry and ripe plum are subdued but unmistakeable on the nose while a hint of rose petal hovers aromatically. The palate then sweeps in with unexpected freshness that highlights the peppery spice and the purity of the dark fruit. The finish is dry, peppery and moreish. Anne Krebiehl MW
