Though its colorful label bucks the traditional listings of grape (it's Zinfandel), place (Paso Robles) and even vintage, this is an undeniably delicious wine for all sorts of palates. Candied strawberry, blood orange and chalk aromas tempt the nose into a lively palate of cherry pie, wet stone and chalk. It's hedonistic and classical at once. Matt Kettmann
