This is one of the first $120 Pinot bottlings from the Edna Valley, and it impresses with power and complexity. Aromas of black plum and boysenberry are lifted by sandalwood, clove and loamy earth scents. The palate's deep berry fruits are spice by shaved licorice and cinnamon, with a tightly woven structure that contributes to a long lasting finish.
