Tommasi 2000 Il Sestante Vigneto Monte Masua (Amarone della Valpolicella Classico)

Fairly tight and snappy, but weighs in more rich than lean. The palate deals cherry, plum and earth, while the finish offers lavender, fudge and pepper. Well balanced stuff, and pretty easy to get into; this one doesn't need a ton of time in the cellar.
