Torbreck 2019 The Steading Blanc White (Barossa Valley)

This vintage of Torbreck's Steading Blanc (a blend of Marsanne, Viognier and Roussanne) comes in at 15% alcohol, and it shows. Very pale in color, the nose leads with ripe peaches and pears, backed by floral and chalk notes. The palate shows angular acidity, feeling very young and quite worked. Christina Pickard
