Torbreck 2021 Woodcutter's Semillon (Barossa Valley)

Pale for this variety, this is a highly fruity, somewhat confected Semillon. Peach candy, lemon juice and rind are backed by a hint of spice. There's a slippery texture to the palate with forced, citrusy acidity. The fruit veers a touch sour and falls off quickly at the finish. Christina Pickard
