Torlesse 2004 Riesling (Canterbury)

Stony and minerally on the nose, with some lime and pear notes that hover in the background. Despite its off-dry nature, it's similarly austere in flavor, offering up only modest fruit to go with its dry, minerally notes. A bit of a 'tweener, not sweet, fruity and luscious, but not fully dry and bracing. Imported by McDevitt & McDevitt Importers. Joe Czerwinski
