This new Negroamaro-based wine from Piero Antinori's Southern Italian venture is quite the powerhouse. If you like digging into a meaty, tight, minerally red with loads of ripeness and complexity, then here's your ticket. It's ultra everything: black fruit, cassis, vital acidity, you name it. The finish is spectacular as it unfolds in waves. Really a super wine, drinkable now and into the near future. Michael Schachner
