A delicious wine, with pretty, pure Syrah flavors of blackberry fruit slathered in coffee liqueur and caramel toast. It's a wine that can only be called yummy; but it has muscle and verve and does not over-reach for super ripeness. All in proportion, with interesting streaks of licorice and smoke running through the lingering finish.
